Living in a gray little city in America, I can't even imagine what it must be like to live somewhere beautiful and interesting :]

Great shot!
So cute!

But then we, in Australia, wonder what its like to live in such an active and busy country like america :)

Do you have open range zoo's there??
:iconidyllicimagery:
Well, we have little places here and there where they let deer, antelope and a few other relatively harmless animals roam free while you drive your car through and try to feed them carrots or animal feed.

The animals were rather domesticated, however, and the giraffes were behind a fence when I went. So I really don't know if thats a yes or a no, because it certainly wouldn't compare to anything in Australia.

They do have one in Disney World!
But they are a novelty.

We dont have any really cool places like disneyworld in Adelaide. you have to travel interstate to get to it cos we only have one in the whole country.

Hmmm. with the fences like you say, no thats just an ordinary zoo, we have them too but the open range ones have a special bus which takes you round to see lions and tigers and hippos and there not in cages. they can come right up to the bus (which is all clear really tough plastic) and you can feed the giraffe's and the lions come up right next to you.

You can also sleep there and wake up right next to the lion enclosure in the morning. the sound of all the animals is great.

Also you can hold baby croc's and the koala's as well as feed monkeys and stuff. its kinda cool :)
